Registration of PP Premium Add-on Pack v3 (issues)

I recognized that I have to register the Premium Add-on Pack again, when I use PP on an other Stick or HD.
So why is the registration hardware dependent and which components of the PC are affected?

Personally, I don't like this kind of registration.

It's still portable, if that's what you're wondering about. ie. if you install it on a usb drive, the activation is designed to work regardless of which computer you plug the usb drive into and you don't have to re-activate it on each computer.

PP 3.8 RC14 & Premium Add-on Pack RC4

I am trying to activate the Add-on Pack on an external HD and USB-Stick, but I got this message :

1- did you not exceed the number of installations allowed ? Please check the License Agreement on the PPAOP installation .

Anyway , for a faster solution send your previous post text , plus the error line to < support at poppeeper dot com > , no need to send the image .

2- I do not think there is a PPAOP 3.0 RC 4 , perhaps there is a RC 3 .

This license agreement ("license") permits the holder of an individual license to install the software program on two computers, provided the software is in use on only one computer at any time.

I am using PP only on one computer, but on 2 internal HDs (XP and 7). The new activation fails on the internal HDs, external HD and USB-Stick.

I do not think there is a PPAOP 3.0 RC 4 , perhaps there is a RC 3

The Product Request Page still shows RC2, but the download is RC4 (POPPeeper_PremiumAddOn-Install_v30_RC04.exe).

1- there may be some problem with the registration logic , interpreting your case . Hope you have a fast solution .

2- thanks for the tip regarding PPAOP v3 RC4 , I will download it now (but anyway I do not understand what was the RC 3 about , it was skipped , or I missed it) .

Technically, instead of "computers" it should say "devices" (which has been updated).

From what I can see in the logs, you have tried to activate on many distinct devices, but... well, there was an issue with earlier versions that may have exacerbated the number of devices incorrectly. Anyway, try it again, you should be able to activate now. If you still have a problem, please email me -- I will take care of these issues much faster via email than when only reported on the forum.

So I can activate the Addon-Pack only on two devices? I use PP twice on XP/7 and I want to use it on my USB-Stick and on an external HD.

Just a suggestion: It would be much better if the licence data are stored in a keyfile and device independent, like in Winrar.
